Biography
The Forester
All around you the forest seems to be enormous, bent on engulfing you in its darkness. There are distant sounds of animals happily going about their days, but in your seemingly small space you feel trapped. Haunted. Weary.
"What brings you to my neck of the woods," asks a voice, bodiless as you search for its owner. Then, as if she suddenly appeared, a skydancer was in front of you, draped in witch's garb. The colors blended with the woods, and upon her back she seemed to carry the forest with her, a small garden growing there with blooming flowers.
You're frozen in unknowing fear, and the dragon walks around you, observing every detail laid bare. Finally she settles back in front of you and smiles something wicked. "I imagine you're rather cold and hungry. My grotto is not far from here..." She walks between two willows, their blanketing branches seeming to almost move aside for the skydancer, and you follow unthinkingly. It is much later you realize this witch is not some horror story, but rather someone picking fun in a not very polite way. All in all, she is a knowledgeable witch with a love of the forest, protecting it and gathering what little she needs from it.
