Her whole life has been spent running. Running from horrible visions behind her eyes and the various beasts that wish to use her special gaze for their own purposes. Her eyes are seen as an incredible gift and yet she has always felt they were her greatest curse. Why do they always show her horrible images of carnivorous monsters and blood-curdling screams surrounded by darkness? Why does nothing but Darkness creep at the corner of her very special eyes when her gut is telling her something is very wrong?
Plagued with fainting spells and burst of random uncontrolled magic, Lorelei has taken to keeping herself apart from everyone else. It's lonely but for the best, or so she tells herself.
Occasionally she'll peek her head out to assist in magical endeavors. By the time the task is done she's already slipped back into her hideaway despite the few who offer her help or simply a chance to talk.
Lorelei knows they mean well but...
This is for the best.
She finds comfort with Midsommar.
Having someone who understands what you are going through, especially something so horrifying and mentally exhausting, is a true blessing.
