A constant clinking and shifting of gears accompanies Syraan's every move, his gloves and vest designed so the cogs turn as he walks. The lamp on his tail is forever cracked, some relic of a careless action long ago.

Sometimes he disappears into his workshop for weeks, seen only by Siyalianna as she brings tea and food and reminders to sleep. Sometimes he seems to be forever in the corridors, attempting to engage a passing dragon in discussion about his newest design or idea.

In his workshop, Syraan is a whirlwind of activity, tools tucked into his scarf and electricity sparking from his clawtips. It has long since seeped into his bones and skin, skittering across his whole body and glowing and pulsing in time with his emotions. A blue glow through the doorway of his workshop is a common sight, illuminating the cool darkness of the lair.
