Brinachiere Glassfin, Brina for short, an Imperial born in the sea, but knows not how to speak the draconian tongue.
Brina was found as an abandoned egg and raised by Maren, she herself believing she is a Maren, albeit not a pretty one.
By trade, Brina is a pearl diver, going deeper than most Maren can in order to collect precious relics and sunken treasure on top of pearls, but most importantly, black pearls, the value being significant to other Beastclans that the Maren trade with. Treasure hunting is a vital part of Brina's everyday life, and without it, she believes herself a useless member of Maren society.
Brina, unsurprisingly, enjoys singing, something that sends shivers down the spine of many sailing dragons, given the unearthly sound of their kind humming in the tongue of a Beastclan. However, this is not to say that her singing is poor, quite the contrary, her exquisite voice makes her singing all the more haunting.
By nature, she is curious and self-conscious, always being hungry for knowledge of what lies beyond the schools, though her school discourages her leaving them, given how great an asset she is to them. Truth be told, Brinachiere wants love more than anything else, and doesn't find much hope with the males of her school given some pretty staggering differences, on top of her personal belief that she herself is a very, very ugly Maren.
Nowadays, Brina stays with her school just off the coast of the border between Light and Lightning. For some reason, Brina feels an odd pull towards the Sunbeam Ruins, and visits frequently as if to try and figure out just why she feels like it calls to her, with her adoptive mother Opror keeping tabs on her, making sure she doesn't stray too far from the rest (Opror herself feeling actually great maternal affection for the dragon, but never finding the heart to tell her that she is no Maren like the others). All she knows is that she shouldn't try to crawl too far out on land else she become dehydrated.
Time will tell if Brina will discover her true origins.
