    Flashes of memory still burned Axelins mind; glorious fur shifting through the breeze, a sturdy body and happiness. Laughter surrounded him. He remembered little about his past life, but the driving sensation that he didn't belong anywhere pushed him. So he began to travel all over the lands until he'd given up hope.

    He wandered for months before finally coming back home, to the place where he belonged. He knew instantly that this was it -- There was the huge tree that he remembered dancing around as a hatchling. Here was the rolling hills that he so loved to fly over. This was his place, this was his home. He'd never been more excited in his life. The happiness and joy he once knew consumed him, and he was finally able to laugh once again.

    Few dragons recognized him on his return. Vasuni was one of them, knowing his friend immediately by the gleam in his eye and the mischevious magic that danced around him. He was far from adept, but Axelin definitely knew how to put on a show. Tundra or not, he still possessed that. Vasuni was the one who ran to him first, who knew he was familiar but couldn't quite place it, until Axelin put on one of his famous firework shows.

    Vasuni was not the only one to recognize the wildclaw. A dark, sleek beast roamed the land without a master. Everyone stayed wary of it and the particularly long, deadly tail. Everyone except Axelin. The creature now bounded towards its former master, crashed into him and covered his face in saliva. He could only laugh.. Finally, after all this time, he was once again surrounded by his friends. Never again would he leave.
