Opal can't imagine life without her one and only love, Cryptic. She doesn't mind his rudeness toward other, as with her he is a kind romantic soul, which she finds incredibly sweet and makes her feel special.

Being from the Starfall Isles Opal cannot escape her love of all things arcane, from magic and the stars to Alchemy. Because of this when Baldwin stumbled upon a new breed, the Bogsneak, from an accident with his alchemic brew Opal couldn't help but grow excited to learn more. She desired then to recreate the formula and to become a Bogsneak herself, however she worried for how Cryptic would feel toward the change.

Opal would not go through with the transformation if her love did not approve. but to her surprise Cryptic was supporting of the choice, taking her claw and reassuring his love that he'd always love her, that she'd always be beautiful to him. And with that, to show is undying love and resolve Cryptic too made the choice to become a Bogsneak along side her.

Opal's closet friend is the large Imperial Sage she met within the Starfall Isles while out hunting, though he did laugh at her poor efforts at the time they soon became close friends and traveled the world together.

The two are best of friends and often spend time messing around with one another. They will always have each others back, but also will tease, prank and argue over some of the silliest of things. Opal however generally wins any arguments as Sage is a big soft dragon, while Opal is wild and dominant.
When Opal was thinking of becoming a Bogsneak she spoke to Sage about it before even Cryptic, she knew her long time friend would be open and straight forward with her.

Sage also being from Arcane understood better then most how Opal was feeling, her desire for Alchimy and to become a Bogsneak. The two spoke for a many hours, Sage assuring his smaller companion that it wouldn't change their friendship or how he sees her.
