lore ideas:
despite being born to the lightning flight, and having two parents of light flight origin, fern has always felt much more of an affinity to nature. she set up a garden and small forest just outside the clan cave, a stark difference to the rest of the canyon. because of her love of nature, when dust arrived, the two got along very well. as the nature representative of the clan, dust offered gardening and farming tips, which fern accepted eagerly. this led to them becoming happy mates, and the clan has never had better vegetarian food.
