Abandoned by her parents, Zora was found and brought to the clan by a family of Crested River Flights, who found her tiny and starving by a river. As a result her companion is always by her side to ensure she is safe, even though she is now able to defend herself. Zora has always been solitary and distrusting as a result of her early life experiences, and tends to isolate herself within the clan, choosing instead to spend time training or meditating. She has a strong loyalty to the Midnight Forest clan and would do anything to protect them. Which resulted in a rather interesting meeting with her mate Tempest. One day she was out hunting in the forest when she heard a soft flapping coming from behind her. She tensed her muscles and listened carefully, waiting for the intruder to get closer, then with a mighty roar she turned and knocked the smaller dragon out of the air with her mighty tail. She was shocked to see it was the new Fae who had recently come to stay in the camp. She was even more shocked at the admiration in his eyes upon seeing her. She apologised for her actions and the two spoke for hours after that, learning everything about each other. She was shocked to find herself enjoying herself and soon felt her feelings for the smaller dragon grow in response, eventually helping him get settled in to the clan (much to everyone else's surprise). Despite being two incredibly different dragons, she couldn't help but feel as though they were soulmates, destined to be together. And the rest is history. |
