Rez is a very serious, no-nonsense Imperial Dragon. He does not find humor in most jokes or perhaps does not understand them, and he tends to be extremely blunt and frank. He has a soft spot for Rhaena, showing softness to her that no one else aside from some of his children is allowed. He doesn't care about most things that do not concern him, his family, or his clan.

Rez came from the Starfall Isles, where he spent the majority of his life before joining the Feywild Clan. He was the only Hatchling in his clutch, and thus he was independent from the beginning, not often needing company from anyone, even his parents. He began to study ancient history, finding love and comfort in the pages of dusty books and tomes that hadn't been opened in decades or centuries. This was his craft and passion and what he held most dear to him.

When the Feywild Clan still resided in the Starfall Isles, Rez joined Vaena and her lifetime partner in establishing their clan. He was a sage advisor, giving council when needed, and teaching his skills to new Hatchlings.

The Feywild Clan was brutally attacked by a clan from the Scarred Wasteland, and Rez lent his aid where he was able to. Their numbers diminished, he followed Vaena when she took the surviving dragons and left the Starfall Isles to settle in the Tidelord's Domain.

When Rhaena washed up on the shore of Churnscar Wharf, Rez immediately disliked her. Not only was she a Pearlcatcher, but he also found her to be obnoxious and arrogant. They clashed constantly, butting heads especially after Vaena named her the Heir to the Feywild Clan.

But over time, Rez grew not only to tolerate Rhaena's presence but to purposefully seek out her company and favor. He does not mind that they have many mating partners, but Rez is a jealous Dragon who guards Rhaena's heart like it's his personal treasure, and he takes pride in being her favorite and main mate. He also has no issues reminding any Dragon he thinks needs reminding that his place is always above theirs when it comes to Rhaena's romantic affections.
