Background
Malphite was born from two Fae who chance met in the mixed-breed clan they were traveling with temporarily. Taetian ran into them while visiting her homeland for. . . things. She offered to take the talented young male under her wing and his parents posed no objection. Being so young, he did not travel with the other clan members and instead stayed with the rest of the clan and other hatchlings at the mouth of the Great Sunbeam River. It was while he was following Taetian around one day that he discovered dragons could make poison too, something for so long he'd only associated with frogs and snakes and maren. He was fascinated. Immediately, he began conducting his own experiments and gathering any knowledge he could from other clan members.
Magick & Role
Malphite discovered his love of potions and poison after being exposed to it
(metaphorically) by Taetian. He incessantly harassed other knowledgeable clan members about the topic, such as Koschei, Lan Zhan, and Abutilon. They only found out he was conducting experiments by himself when one day he went crying to Taetian with one of his frogs dead in his claws. Afterwards, Taetian only allowed his experiments if someone else was supervising.
He's a very bright and talented young dragon, so once he reached four years his multitude of tutors began allowing him to offer his services to clan members (providing antidotes mostly, not poisons . . . usually). They have faith that he'll be able to join them as a vendor of his own once he's older (though Taetian and Maiyaka have already inducted him into the Coven).
