Frode
~Librarian~

No proper bio yet, I'm afraid. Please be patient.

Notes:
  • The nicer one of the Library/Archive pair, and the one Clan members go to first, if given a choice
  • Incredibly shy, unassuming and soft-spoken due to having been shunned because of his drab colours (after his adult molting at the Outpost, he gained a pleasing dark sheen, and there was much rejoicing for his sake).
  • Abhors conflict and loud noises of any kind
  • Adores fairy tales, adventure and romance novels as well as happily-ever-afters
  • Speaks immaculate common draconic, but sometimes has to ask others to repeat themselves.
  • Frode's name means "learned" or "wise".
  • Became the adopted father of Saga in reverse order - she adopted him. He's a very proud and happy (if somewhat a lot stressed and worried for her) dad.
  • Having to parent Saga has accomplished the thing the Clan didn't believe was possible - revealing his secret spine of mithril to the world.
  • The Spirit Armour came to life after he dug it out of some ruins in the Hewn City (where he also found a stash of abandoned books), brought it to Lynnar for repairs, polished it and put it up in the reception of the Library with a golden plaque attached to it's gorget reading: "Beware, those who enter; for knowledge comes freely to open curious minds... but punishes those who think they can hoard it for themselves." The Armour took this very seriously and now acts as a happy Library assistant. It helps Frode reach, dust and organise the highest shelves, leads visitors to the books they are looking for, contently puts lent books back into place, brings book-safe snacks to the reading areas... and also mercilessly cripples thieves and vandals to detain them for Clan Justice.
  • Frode writes hatchling stories! He started for his adopted daughter, Saga, but found he really liked it and kept on going even after she grew up. Many hatchlings' favourite event all week is when the father-daughter pair read his stories out loud together and do utterly spectacular voices and sound effects.
