Spooky

Spooky is a ghost hunter. She doesn't actually know anything about real ghosts but she read a lot of ghost stories and heard a lot of campfire stories, and now believes she's an expert. She can't see Mirage, like Devil and Pegasus can, and thinks that Mirage's breeze and the cats that follow her are definitely not signs of a ghost- just cats chasing leaves and dust that the wind picks up. Devil and Pegasus don't talk about their jobs with Spooky, and just let Spooky believe what she does. She isn't harming anyone by "ghost hunting", and it's pretty funny to watch Spooky with a stick and a piece of paper trying to contact the dead, when the two of them know there aren't any spirits around. Spooky also doesn't know that Lace is a necromancer, and everyone is quiet enough about Lace's more gruesome habits that Spooky never picked up on it.

With salt circles around her den, and plenty of aromatic but spiritually useless herbs hanging in windowsills and over her nest, the ghosts and spirits in the territory tend to avoid her solely because they think she's weird, and kind of condescending. Sometimes, the more malevolent spirits will haunt her, but she never notices, and the more naive spirits will try to talk to her after hearing her say she's a ghost expert, but again she never notices. In fact, even out of the other dragons in the clan without an affinity for the spiritual, she's one of the most dense and blocked off when it comes to actual ghost presences. Even Corrosive, one of the most scientific-minded in the clan, has a better sense for the spiritual and supernatural than Spooky does.

Spooky is otherwise kind, though sometimes she comes off as insensitive. She's fairly unsocial, not for lack of trying; she doesn't understand many social cues and doesn't realize that she has a hard time picking up on others' emotions or the atmosphere of a conversation.
