One of Daszjhal'vyamelth's (also known as Trojura, Trojeg or Vyamelth's) children. Kuraimo is representative of Vyamelth's interest in human creations of the forge. During the Dragon Age, Kuraimo oversaw the works of many blacksmiths, professional and amateur alike. Learning as they did, he scarcely contributed much to the works of any person but kept the forges of those he visited hot. It added no special properties to the metals but many men believed otherwise. Any items or armor recognized to have been created while Kuraimo was present was deemed god-blessed and in the case of armor was given to only the finest warriors of the land.

Kuraimo himself did rarely collaborate with a few of the most legendary smiths of each era when inspiration moved him to create himself. Most of his creations were armor intended to protect those humans that he found true companionship in, though as most of them were blacksmiths and forge-tenders, the armor was seldom worn by those it was made in honor of, only for lack of practical need. The armor created this way was unmistakable as his doing---it all held an iridescent sheen which kept its gloss regardless of the damage the armor received. And it could receive damage---it was not invulnerable, though was often made of the most durable metals on the planet.

Due to the unique visible properties of the armor as well as items forged with the raw metal Kuraimo gifted to those who most honored him, royalty as well as the rich in every corner of the Ten Lands took great interest in obtaining these 'god-blessed' items. Ordinarily they would be passed down through generations of the families of those who first obtained them, but as the Dragon Age passed and all Dragons and most Guardians became completely absent from the eyes and in many cases the hearts of men, bribery, thievery and occasionally localized civil wars saw them changing hands often.

Significantly less of the items came to exist than once did as even knowing the nature of armor and weapons as at times being used by men to combat other men, combat occurring after the end of the Dragon Age over the acquisition of his creations or over any Dragon-related matter bothered him as intensely as it did the Dragons who sacrificed all ties to the mortal peoples they loved for hopes of quelling some of their fighting. While most Dragons saw fighting using the Flameweaving (magical) techniques they had taught to men for survival and peaceful advancement as personally offensive, so too was Kuraimo both saddened and angered by conflict ignited by what he had given them. As a result, when eyes left the prizes to be had, he destroyed them. Though it brought him sadness in itself for him to do so, he hoped for it to bring peace.

Blame for their destruction or utter disappearance took the place of fighting for the right of ownership he soon learned, and surrender to the knowledge that he could not end conflicts any more than the gods' withdrawal from their lives could was all that spared the items which remained. Solesk, the most warlike of the Ten Lands eventually collected almost all of the items which could be used in battle and much of any others they could find which they then melted to create such items of war themselves. The vast majority of the armor either acquired by or created by them have found their final destruction over years of conflict in which their preservation was completely neglected.

The rest either eventually joined the city-state Abregond's publicly available artifact treasury or became owned by the ruling family of the country Resk in their Trade City and capitol of Yaltenore. Kuraimo, having withdrawn from all societies both visibly and in mind from the deep sorrow that had come over him, eventually came to know that some of his surviving creations found hands that would respect them, drawing his attention to men once more. Most notably he took interest in the blacksmiths of Yaltenore, some of the most well-known and respected in all of the Lands.

Yaltenore was most known for not only the quality of the items their forges produced, but for care with who was allowed to obtain them. Kuraimo had found people that he could again trust and consider worthy of calling allies. Although direct creations of the gods such as he were not exempt from needing to remain invisible to all but very few men, the forges of Yaltenore filled again with whispers of dreams involving the Dragon of metalcrafting and the insistence of some that they feel his presence with no other way to explain the feeling. The legend of the Heart of the Forge never faded from the knowledge of the true masters of the craft but these glimmers of mystery and even hope at his return have reignited their hearts and the widespread practice of prayer to him.

It was the Great Exodus, the destruction of the world they all shared, that finally allowed a sense of hope and energy to touch Kuraimo himself as well. No longer being required to or even able to hide, he has joined with the clan's crafters to openly assist again in their endeavors. In this time of peace and rebirth he has never felt such joy as when all members made the oath to not repeat past mistakes and accept conflict as a part of their lives. As many of the gods and his brothers and sisters did, he also made an oath to himself that day: to never try to diffuse it by running away from it, either, and nothing and no one will convince him to again.
