Ananth

A bard who travels with the circus, although they never formally joined. They simply started travelling alongside the caravans one night, and Liselotte didn't have the heart to turn them away. Since then, they've fully integrated into circus life and provide backing music for most of the performances, both with instruments and their voice.

For the most part, the dragons of the circus don't mind their strange new companion. Their smile is infectious and they're full of stories and songs of the distant lands they've visited on their adventures (even if a few of them sound... exaggerated, to say the least). However, when it comes to anything other than singing, dancing or telling tales, Ananth is extremely passive, and spends most of their time lazing around the circus tents. They also have the unfortunate habit of bursting into song whenever they feel inspired, which can be charming, sure, but not when the rest of the circus is trying to sleep!

Although they're full of tall tales, very little is known about Ananth themselves. They claim that they simply do not like to dwell on the past, as living in the present is more important. Oddly, they seem to have some sort of past with Nereida of the Teafleaf Court, although neither of the two imperials will elaborate.
