Blood seeps from her stars but she's never had a scar.
Some say it's from those she kills but it never seems to go away.
Others say she does it to escape.
Thought that is not it.
She owes the deep.
She owes it her blood and that of others.
She will never die after her blood runs dry.
She will be a Bloodless.
And crave nothing but death.
A curse that will serve her well.
If she is freed from The Deep.
Or serve death to the enemies of The Deep.

She vowed to protect her Kingdom,

Annka sits picking at her bloody wraps, she feels no pain, simply a constant drain. Where there should be sweat there is blood, the pores never seem to stop. It's clotted in her feathers plumes making the ends of her feathered wings deadly spikes. She has bad memories of them, being forced to pluck one to kill an attacker. The feather seemed no different to a knife, but how cleanly it cut through a hard scaled dragon... she would rather not remember.
Picking at her wrist is the most pain she can feel, the cursed jewels that were made to keep her in line make existing as a bloodless bearable but will less. When told to kill she must, that is price of living with out the pain of blood seeping out of every crevice of her body. Before she got them she could never move it was too much, but she wished sometimes that she didn't take the offer, at least she wouldn't be a killer for these monsters.
