QUICK NOTES
- Hewn City survivor; he and his mate are the only two remaining of their former clan. Their attempts to tame and live within the cursed city failed, and they all found themselves marked by curses. Their numbers slowly dwindled as the beasts and curses felled each clanmate one by one, and had the small group on a research excursion for Clan Evermoon not stumbled across the two, they would have surely fallen prey to the City as well.
- Appearing stoic and decisive in his actions, with a terrifying gaze, this drake is often avoided by most. Rendered nearly mute from the trauma of his experiences, the one he speaks to most is his mate- the young dragoness all he has left of his former clan, and his only partner in their harrowing struggle to survive. His natural affinity for clairvoyance allowed him to see things he only wishes he could forget; horrific monstrosities unseen to the others, the true horrors of the curses devouring his friends and family- and worse, the fates of those who'd fallen to the ruins. No longer does he wear the pride of his warrior status; instead, it has been replaced by the scars of desperation to live, and the weight of the curse he now bears.
- Acting sometimes as a guide and guard for the ruins, he is practiced in survival and navigation of the Hewn City. He and his mate often take the research teams into the place in their attempts to learn more about the unusual magicks in the area. He doesn't approve of setting foot back into the ruins, but he cannot allow his mate to take the ignorant scholars in there alone. If they should ever venture near the place his charge lays waiting, however, he feels responsible for making sure they never find it- and the thing that waits with it.
- Only breeding for Halloween or special occasion; 150g each. Every hatchling is afflicted with a curse that cannot be removed easily, often involving a dangerous ritual or trek through the Hewn City to find and destroy its source.
