Biography
My alien baby now I need alien lore and mate!
Wagoo, wagoo, how are yoo? I Box, Alien from planet aaa...faroo.... I told to get trick a treat from yoo. Treat? Or Trick? Is good too.
His down is your backwards, and his right is also your up. Left and forward, turn around, and he's gone! But he's back again one second later, coming from just where you were standing a moment ago. Sometimes, that's but only a small portion of what is the norm for Box. He is yet to explain why his name is Box, if there is a reason at all - but if there was, who would be able to understand it if not Box alone?
Ever since his arrival, Box has dropped one bit of information about himself here, another there, and if there's enough patience for it, anyone could patch together what there is to be known about him. He comes from somewhere 3 miles and 9 steps away from over there, which in reality means extremely far from the most distant place one could ever imagine. He calls it the aaa...faroo.. planet (it's important to write it in lowercase, he's quite strongminded about it). How could he get here so fast? The doors, of course! Box can travel through door that come from nowhere and can take him to just anywhere. All he needs to do is to think of it, or maybe not even that! He doesn't seem to spend much of his time thinking. Action is the soul of his business.
Speaking of business, his latest endeavour is something that Box enjoys a lot to talk about. Unfortunately for some, not much can be quite made of it - he keeps going on the most about the two friends he made called Scooby and Shaggy and how many snacks he's had with them. That is, after he could prove to them and their other friends that he meant no harm! At first they thought he was related to a "mystery" going on, but it turned out that as one would expect, Box came in from nowhere into their world and helped them out despite not having anything to with it, in fact. Good times, good times! He has now found a new place to stay, though. Right here, right now. And he's looking for as many tricks and treats he can get his claws on! What for? That, he hasn't revealed just yet, which makes it just another of this extraterrestrial friend's own "mysteries"...
Some might say that the great unknown was terrifying, but Box thought that was silly. The unknown is great! It’s even in the name. He doesn’t quite get how anyone can be afraid of the endless, spiraling and glittering cosmos; with the doors, one could never get lost, after all. Take him, for instance: even three miles and nine steps away from home (give or take several astrofeet) he always knows what is what and which is which. No one ever seems to get it when he explains, though.
But that’s fine! Box has other things he likes to talk about more, like mysteries and tricks (or treats, those are good too). He had great fun with Shaggy and Scooby way back when, and this new world seems just as interesting! Lots of colourful sorts out here, with fantastic pyrotechnics – who knew mixing that pink energy with the bright orange one could make such pretty lights? Box was excited to explore the possibilities here.
He took his time going around (someone told him the place was called Sornieth), taking a peek at the harder to find, out of the way places tucked in the corners of the world. There was a huge tower that he’d had to balance carefully on top of to not go tumbling below (which would’ve been funny but embarrassing), a reaaally windy swirly vortex thing that was great fun but made him dizzy, a mighty tree that was so big and strong he just had to try climbing it (he gave up after almost getting whacked by a swinging vine as thick as his neck), a fancy looking building with a telescope pointed at the stars (Box wanted to go inside to see if he could look at aaa...faroo.... from there but the slightly creepy chanting convinced him to maybe try later), and a bubbling lake of something that looked delicious (he was tempted to swim in it but a spiky, red-eyed lady yelled at him before he could).
It was all very nice, almost nice enough to distract him from his quest! Only almost, though, because Box is better than that. He’s going to find lots of tricks and treats if it’s the last thing he does! It won’t be, of course, since he needs to do something after collecting them, but it’s the thought that counts, or so he’s heard. That’s why he’s where he is now, collecting enough treats to fill a whole asteroid, and enough tricks to outwit any trickster! Once he’s done that, well… that’s a secret ~ Lykantos
