Fallon is aware of how dangerous the world is. She grew up in a household filled with lies and intrigues and rules, and even though she doesn't have any contact with her old family anymore, her mindset hasn't changed much: Be mindful of what you say and how much you tell someone, never let anyone see through your lies and, most importantly, do not trust anyone.

In Valdas she seems to have found someone just as dangerous and fake as her, and that is somehow reassuring to her.
