As a young lad Sparx had a fascination with technology, particularly that of the more arcane variety. Why bother with pulleys and levers when these runes do everything a pulley can do and more! Despite his Earth alignment, he felt something of a calling to run off for his own ambitions, and it's exactly that he did!
This ended exactly as you'd expect, the big wide world is a little too dangerous for a dragon still in its childhood years. Lucky for our young protagonist, starved to near death and ready to be freed from this mortal coil, a cloaked figure came upon him and brought him to the Starlit Forge.
It was like nothing he'd ever seen, a great blowing bellows of boistrous arcane fire bolstering the belching of this incredible device, this forge that could create any artifact of any make. He soon found himself sticking around with the cloaked man, studying how this contraption worked, where the fire it uses comes from, and most importantly, how can he make another.
