Rexi

Shortly after Red left the camp with Rio and Duran, a second unexpected guest arrived. The red eyes that lined her sides gave away the fact that the roaming Snapper was far from her normal route in her home domain. She slowly made her way down the small hill that hid the nearby beach from sight, heading towards Stargazer and Viper.

"Hello!" the snapper called out as she approached.

"Hi there!" Viper quickly darted in the direction of the newcomer. "You look far from home, sister."

"A bit, I suppose, perhaps," the Snapper responded, her voice tired yet still friendly. She turned her head, eying Viper and Stargazer before taking note of the two dragons that were sitting beside a pool of lava somewhat behind them.

"Are you all children of The Sight?" she asked after the careful observation.

"Yes," Stargazer said. "A few of us have foreseen pieces of what we believe may be a major event. Our visions have caused us to gather here, in hopes that we can learn more about it."

"Ah, I see." The snapper lowered her head. "My name is Rexi. I've been following a trail that The Sight blessed me with, and it appears it's led me here."

"You aren't the first, a couple of us were led here as well, me included," responded Viper.

"Has the Guardian arrived?"

"No," Viper said. "There is no Guardian here, not of the dragon type, anyway."

"There will be a Guardian," said Rexi. "Keep watch, the time will be soon."

"The time for what?" asked Stargazer.

"I'm not sure, I don't remember exactly," replied Rexi. "But I know it will be soon. May I stay here with your clan for the time being?"

"Of course," Stargazer gave a nod. "All are welcome here."

"You have my deepest gratitude," Rexi said as she lowered her head again. "Your clan here may be in need of protection in the near future. I will help as best I can until the warriors begin to arrive. I may be better on the defensive, but I've learned a couple of offensive tricks on my journeys."

She smiled and then slowly made her way over to a pool of lava to rest.
