Biography
Daughter of the healer and savior of her birth clan, the young Gaoler was overwhelmed by the the pressure of the high expectations every dragon had for her.
She awoke one night to the sounds of Ashton's snores, and unable to fall back asleep she extracted herself from her nest of siblings and slowly stepped around the other sleeping dragons. She needed to get out. The restless energy was overwhelming and she did not want to wake the others.
A rock clattered down the edge of the ravine, and she absentmindedly kicked another after it. They bounced and rolled, no will of their own, at the whim of their surroundings until they came to a rest at the bottom of the chasm. Is that her? Is that her life? At the whim of the desires of others... destined to be a healer, a diplomat, a....Gaoler.
Frustrated, she turned away to resume her pacing and .... what was that? The fabric fluttered in the wind and was gone in an instant. Creeping forward, she peered around the corner to see an unfamiliar red dragon looking directly at her.
He grinned cheekily, winked, and was gone.
....Who wouldn't go after him?
