Paladin was born in Hearthclan, part of a respectable family who often took in orphans from the village. Paladin spent his days looking after his adopted siblings and searching for flowers in the woods. His mornings were bright and happy and his nights were calm and peaceful. He was a happy child, one with nature and summertime. But then the bandits attacked.
Paladin's family fled Hearthclan and started a great trek across the land. They became nomads, living off the land and picking up more and more orphans to add to their family. Paladin's clan spread light and hope wherever they went. He never understood why they had been forced out of their home. He enjoyed every moment of every day. But then Paladin was attacked.
More bandits. They came in the night and attacked the group, trying to steal their food. Paladin and several of his siblings were gravely wounded. Their parents took him to Revenants' Haven, a quaint Shadow village which welcomed them. Paladin spent many weeks healing, yet his family could not wait up for him. They disappeared into the night, without Paladin every finding out why.
Paladin spent his days in Revenants' Haven, decorating the village and searching for flowers. But the Shadow lands didn't have the same light that Paladin had grown up around. One day, a young dragon came to Revenants' Haven. He had fled his home just as Paladin had. Paladin fell in love with Tempo, but they both disliked the dark Shadow lands. Together, they set out on the road again, looking for a new home.
The two of them came to live in Lumin, a peaceful city of Light. Paladin found his calm, warm lands. He lived out his days in happiness with his boyfriend Tempo. Throughout all his hardships, Paladin never lost his sweet, beautiful personality. Today he spends his days admiring the brilliant flowers of the Lumin Gardens and is learning magic from Tempo. He loves Tempo with all his heart, despite his colorful antics. He has plans to someday ask Tempo to marry him, but that's for a different time.
