Uh-oh, looks like this shining sweetie wandered a little too far from her home lair and now she's off to see the world! "Are you ready?" The Skydancer asked the young coatl.
"I think so!" She replied with a notable air of uncertainty, which made Aragonite toss his head in dissaproval.
"Tourmaline, darling, if you want to explore the world, you have to be bold! Brave! Ready to face anything! Now let me see your battle face!"
The coatl put on her bravest face and took off into the sky, hovering there in front of Aragonite. She was going to find a place for the clan now that their expanding numbers were crowding their little windy outcropping, and she knew that she had to be the one to do it. Aragonite was a messenger, he was the one who'd always travelled before, but now the responsibility was passed onto her. The skydancer would be much too busy with domestic affairs now.

"Goodbye, everyone! I'll come back once I've found somewhere for us!" Tourmaline cried as she flew off into the distance. She kept taking glances back at her home, she hoped to be successful in her mission and return someday. That was the best case scenario. The worst case was... She didn't even want to think about it. There were dangerous monsters all over who would love to battle an inexperienced warrior like her. Now that shw thought about it, why did she even take this job over someone much more experienced? Oh well, it was too late to turn back now.

Her first stop led her to Sevaria Suburbs. A land of thunder and storms, most of the high ranking dragons held the element of lightning but all walks of life were still allowed here. The rulers were respectful yet quite busy with working on new and better protection from the raging storms around the land.

The approaching storm didn't seem to be too close, but in her inexperience, Tourmaline underestimated how fast the weather can change. All she remembered was heavy rain and winds that tugged at her wings from all sides, lightning, so bright and terrifying. And then - nothing. A dry hushed voice woke her up from the painful nothingness. "Poor thing must have had quite a bad fall. I've fixed her up, but it's gonna take a while for her to recover. I don't think we should drag her along with us." Tourmaline opened her eyes, but the creature her gaze landed on seemed...wrong. A dark guardian female with strange oozing wounds all over her body. She wanted to scream, but something about the dragon made her feel at ease. "Have your daughters find a save place for her before we head out." A warped claw hovered above Tourmaline's head as if her savior wanted to stroke her. "Kids these days, flying out in storms without a care in the world."
