Main Theme:A Lady by Tally Hall

______ The owner of the Bamboo Nest inn Panda is a sweet and mild-mannered tundra with a taste for bamboo. Her enthusiasm for the stuff has led to her recruiting the help of a few nature dragons in constructing the Bamboo Nest inn. Made entirely of woven branches of still living bamboo the inn is a lightweight and earthquake proof structure that provides free snacks in the form of tasty bamboo leaves. The rooms are beautifully decorated with silk screens painted in traditional wind flight style and it's location between Salamancer's Saloon and the Bamboo Groves means more rooms can be grown as needed. Keeping the beds warm and fleecy is Panda's familiar Boreas who is known to try and snuggle up to any dragon during the night. Like his owner he is known for his friendly and carefree nature but thieves beware, he does bite. The inn's specialty is a bitter green tea made with strained bamboo leaves that is a strong but refreshing morning pick-me-up and the creamy after-dinner hot cocoa made from fresh ground cocoa beans. Roast also provides steamed bamboo shoot buns made with the tenderest of new growths that are a common souvenir to take home to dragons that couldn't make the journey.

______ Those that only see Panda's sunny personality are often surprised to see her mate of choice is the notoriously reclusive Bear. Panda herself isn't willing to humor gossipers about her love life and how she met the anti-social tundra (who visits the lair's only town once a month) is a mystery to all. When she isn't making delicious drinks for her patrons she can often be found curled up with a mug of steaming tea and a good book. The tips of her wings are decorated with tattoos in the traditional style of falling lilac blooms. She is proud of the elegance and artistry of the marks, saying the tattoos were a gift from an artist friend that has since been exalted. Those travelling with Hatchlings will find Panda is well versed in all the nursery tales of the Lair and is happy to entertain with tales of the Singing Bamboo Groves, the imperial ghost that haunts the night and the nocturne transformed into a spiral by the Windsong among others.
