"Please... wait... don't leave me behind! I will be of use, even if it's as Nest Maid... Just please don't leave me to forget myself!"
The palest of white fingers grasped at the night air as the dragon shot up. Tears were not contained as he choked for the oxygen that wouldn't come back to him.
"Who am I? WHAT am I?!" His throat felt as if someone had taken a grater after it and there was still no air there.

Some time the week before, the pale scaled lizard, although he didn't know it yet, had been abandoned on Arcane property. Unconscious, alone, and definitely defenseless, he was seemingly abandoned due to the lack of genes his parents graced and the disease riddling his skin.
Monarch and Amalia were on patrol when they halted at the note of a Wildclaw on Senet's property.
As Monarch went to strike, Amalia stopped him in his tracks.
"Now, hold on. He seems to have been here awhile. There's no note of him having even moved."
Monarch glared at the Spiral, and kicked at the boy.
"Are you saying just LEAVE him?"
"I am." Amalia gently gathered him on her back and took him back as best as she could....
