A S T A R O T H "A man loved by none, forgotten by all."
━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━
Astaroth is an elderly dragon, to the eyes of most. Not many remember who he is, and often question why he seems to try to pull a sense of authority around people. Despite his large size, he is weak and pitifully susceptible to ailments despite his ailment in the plague world. Once upon a time he was one of the most influencing and terrifying dragons in Forlorn Sky. Those days have long passed, leaving a broken and scarred beast in return.

In his old age, it seems like everything has begun to deplete for him. He was always weak in his magic field, plague magic seeming to thwart him from the day he was born, as he developed a severe chest infection from merely being around one of his parents. Despite this, he graduated his schools with incredibly high grades - not only from his own intelligence, but the fact he could sweet-talk just about anyone into doing things for him. This charisma and intelligence is really what carries him, as no strength of his could really top them. For an Imperial, Astaroth was always weakly, but it never stopped him from being the one to talk himself out of conflict. With a sly tongue and carefully chosen words, he could make even his rivals fall in love with him. Or so he thought for the longest time.
━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━
Once upon a time, Astaroth was one of the most feared men within Forlorn Sky. Known for ruling by fear and cruelty, Leidenschaft was an absolute wreck in and of itself due to his abusive nature. Despite being in such a head of power, he never seemed to take it as seriously as he should've. As seriously as he needed to, in order for Leidenschaft to survive. Most began to pick up on this early on, however those who were brave enough to attempt to call him out on it were often culled. Fired or, more likely, slaughtered like cattle to never be able to tell the rest of the world what the head of Leidenschaft was. It was when he drafted a young gaoler into the mafia that was his fatal flaw, discovered by his underling at the time named "Vasylyna". He saw promise in the lad, an obedience that none seemed to top at the time. He was promising, all until he began to learn how Astaroth truly was. When promoted to a seating much like the lass mentioned before, he began to see how cruel he was. How manipulative the man in question could be as he slowly began to cull even the lowest of ranks for people not fully listening to him. Those who didn't obey his every whim were either sent off or snapped in two by his claws. This system, he believed, would make it so he would never lose power. Perhaps maybe even after he died, he would still exist in the minds of those trying to take his seat. He was wrong when Mephistopheles and his partners rose up, confronting him and attacking him. Slashing open his throat, he was brutally mauled by Mephistopheles, a punishment for the cruelties he inflicted upon others. Breaking their minds, making them fear every movement in the thought it could be him coming for them once again. No longer, they declared, before throwing down Astaroth onto the pavement out near the sewage plant. Astaroth managed to haul himself into the sewer's systems, bleeding out as his body was ultimately ripped to shreds. He barely survived, had he not been able to coax a kindly thief to help him at the time, he would have most certainly died. Even if they had helped him, Astaroth feels no debt to him, nor any need to repay the kindly Akar. To the day, he still uses his age to manipulate younger dragons that stumble into the systems, including Akar himself. xGoQttb.png
