Pathologist

It started with a single pore on the back of my arm. It appeared larger that usual, but I shrugged it off as nothing. At least, until there were more. More pores began appearing across my body, first as single holes, then as clusters, soon with only a thin layer of flesh between them. The holes were dark and seemed endless in both depth and lifespan. I grew weaker, and the holes began to morph together, creating larger holes. They tore across my wings and ripped across my skin. Now I’m just a honeycomb of skin and bone, weakly trying to figure out how to replicate the strange illness so that maybe, just maybe, I won’t be alone.
