From birth, Nier has possessed a deep love for sound and song; indeed, such was her love that silences proved frightful to her. As such, she began to sing from a young age, learning in what ways to carry music with her always, and what ways were as unobtrusive to others so that they would not impose her with their silence.

Some call it a gift. Others call it a curse.

 Nier holds the honored and sacred duty of filling the Sanctuary with song. While she favours praises for the Lightweaver and Her glory, she has been known to sing in archaic tongue, passages as yet untranslated by the Cathedral's scholars but beautiful regardless.

While some question the wisdom of singing music as yet unknown to them, none can deny the beauty in which her voice echoes off the stonework and envelopes them with her sound.

Indeed, so soothing is her voice that troubled dragons travel to the Sanctuary to hear her song, whom attest to the serenity they felt once they hear her music. It isn't often that the Sanctuary is quiet, either, Nier seeming to not need as much sleep nor rest as the others. While some question this quietly, she claims it to be the Lightweaver's gift to her, to be able to fill a place so wholly devoted to Her with beautiful song.
