Virian was born in the Scarred Wasteland to a pair of Seekers; gaolers devoted to the Icewarden, who travelled Sornieth in search of Shade-creatures and law-breakers. Her formative years were spent watching her parents capture or eliminate dangerous beings. When she came of age, she went to the Fortress of Ends, where she finished her training with flying colours and became a Seeker herself. Though she would never admit it, Virian holds a particular fondness for the Scarred Wasteland. It’s nothing like the Southern Icefield, but in some ways it feels more like home. Still, she’s resolute in her loyalty to the Icewarden, and retaliates physically to any suggestion that her magical ties to plague make her less of a gaoler. |

As a Seeker, Virian travels Sornieth, hunting down those who have broken the rules of the Icewarden – whether by action, or merely by fact of existence. She’s ruthless in enforcing the law, and takes a vindictive pleasure in what she does. |

War was built for Virian by a metallurgist in the Ashfall Wastes, to serve as a companion and to assist in transporting prisoners. Regular trips in and out of the snowy plains of the Southern Icefield have caused a buildup of rust. |

Clara and Hazel have been acquaintances for a long time, since well before the Clan of the Dawn Breeze was even founded. Their mutual respect for the forests was the root of their friendship; Clara appreciates Hazel's genuine interest in the wellbeing of the woods. |

Though they didn't meet until after Drustvar joined the clan, he and Clara have become fast friends. Both loners, with an odd way about them, they've bonded over their understanding of the innate magics of the forests. |
