Biography

Gorogan was born by sheer accident. A chosen few members of his clan had left on an expedition to track down and contain an especially horrific Shade-beast. These were the elite, the Gaolers that would let neither fear nor hunger nor pain hinder their goal.

And, yet, as most clan elders already know, accidents happen. Gorogan and his siblings were hatched in a makeshift den carved into the base of a cliff. Only a day of rest was given before the party was on the move again, hatchlings tucked into the pouches of the hunters as they continued their pursuit.

As they traveled, their wards told them of the basics of Gaoler order and the duty they had held since their beginning. The same duty that led them to placing the hatchlings in the care of local clans they passed. Their mission could not allow for the immense effort of caretaking.

Gorogan was given to the small but dependable Mudrest clan after a brief exchanging of supplies. The group was more than a little shocked to meet a Gaoler hunting party this far into Earth territory, let alone be given their child, but kept him nonetheless. They did all the things the pack never did - tell stories, roughhouse, make faces, sleep in, talk with him instead of at him. The solemn, quiet child became stronger and more quick-witted by the day.

For the first time in his life, Gorogan had a home.

As an adult, Gorogan acts as a laborer, performing any manual work required of him. Much of the clubhouse's and lair's renovations and expansions were done by him, from preparing the land to building the structure. The Gaoler wings that are so well-suited for combat and digging prove effective in carving the rough natural pools into usable, comfortable features for patrons.

Though some of his childhood stoicism remains, he has a much easier way about him, a willingness to tease and show concern and open up to his adoptive family. After the arrival of Lest, he has also grown more affectionate, to her great displeasure.
