Alef

Alef was an underpaid mechanic in a dystopian present, full of quiet hope for her future. She works hard to earn a good reputation with her higher-ups, until dreams got brutally crushed by her head engineer. This shock leads her to investigate into her company BreakAway GOLD and she stumbles upon some treacherous information. Alimexious' workers move quickly to take her out, but she is clever enough to escape through an unknown portal which lands her in a barren dessert thousands of years in the past. She barely survives for ten long years until she hears rumors of a miracle working boy in a small town. She trusts her instincts and tracks down the alleged miracle worker in hopes that he knows about how to get back to her time.
