Biography
RAMEDAR
|
Children produced by this union of childhood friends and life partners usually, but not always, follow one of their parents' professions: Ghira is a talented baker, while Edaph studies and analyzes soil, mostly for local farmers. Patrons of Ghira's bakery sometimes wonder if any of Edaph's samples make it into Ghira's treats -- which taste fantastic, but Ghira will never outright say they don't secretly contain mud. Ramedar is a quiet dragon who prefers books to playing in the mud. In fact, they find both their parents' professions rather gross and messy -- they don't want to get their hands dirty with flour and chocolate or with actual dirt. After all, that stuff all stains books horribly. If only they could fin somewhere away from their parents and siblings, where they could maintain their library in peace ... |
She packed up her books, her scrolls, manuscripts, runescrolls, and the like. Her other siblings had gone on to follow their destinies and goals and so would she.
Her beloved parents understood the plight she had. Mud and choclate had no place on her paws and ink was just bearable. Ramedar didn't want the stains to mar her pages. She'd heard of a library, deep underground, and had decided to go there. The rumours surrounding the area were as if haunted or cursed, creatures resembling dragons prowling the area.
Poppycock and conjecture. What creatures would haunt a library? Ones with taste. A blue Skydancer and pale red Mirror were the librarians and Ramedar would be offering her services to them. They obviously knew to respect the gravitad of pages and ink. So what if one could be an alien or Shade-touched and the other vicious and dangerous.
Ramedar knew she was destined for the Forgotten Library.
---
When she arrived, she arrived to a Kingdom first. Exalted dragons wandered the grounds; demons beside them and laughing with them. Ramedar, with her paws full of parchment and books and the large covered cart behind her, felt her eyes widen in awe.
A white and pink Skydancer turned towards the small Fae and she saw his antennae twitch for a moment. Then he tilted his head for her to follow. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, Ramedar did, heaving her cart behind as it rattled and shook. A large Guardian, magic twisted unnatural and fascinating, came over to assist in forcing her cart into submission and pushing it without a word.
He did smile, though, so her fins returned the gesture.
