MEANING OF NAME: The name Raoul is a boy's name of French origin meaning "wolf-counsel".

Raoul’s Personality:

Even though Raoul is young, he has a very serious demeanor. Hardly making jokes and hardly taking anything that happens as a joke. During the first few weeks of his life it was a little hard fitting in with his birth Clan, being a Coatl, it was a little rough getting along with the larger species of dragons and being relied upon. But under the grace and protective eye of his parents, he found that their views on large breeds were diminished. Allowing himself to slowly break open his shell, showing that he is caring and cares deeply for his family he is developing everyday in his birth home. Taking their needs and thoughts into consideration, while also thinking about what would be best for himself.

Being a little shy, he is not the first one to speak his mind unless he seems to think that the direction of a conversation is taking the wrong route. Keeping his composure in any situation, helping those older and wiser than him to keep the peace in a strained position. Although, he is serious about the survival and success of his new home, he does have a slightly carefree side as he does not expect to be looked at for advice, simply seeing himself as the helping claw when needed.

Raoul originally wanted to be a Hunter, but given his weight and bulk, it would not have been a successful career within the Clan. Needless to say that he is indeed a Defender, strong and sturdy. He may not be the swiftest, but what he lacks in graceful movements he makes up for with his quick thinking and improvising plans on the spot. This young Coatl is a natural born leader, but he does not exactly follow orders all the way through if he finds that they are worth disobeying for a greater good. Though, this may be seen as insubordination, he does like to make it clear to Tainted that he does not mean to over throw her laws, but merely protect.

On the outside Raoul may seem intimidating, but he is not opposed to helping anyone in need. Showing that he has a big heart behind his smile-less smirk. A soft hearted secret of his, is that he absolutely loves hatchlings and adolescents, it doesn't matter their markings or species, he treats them all the same.
