A wanderer that has found rest at the Ravenwachers' clangrounds on numerous occasions. She neither says where she came from nor where she's headed; but having passed several overt (and covert) inspections from various sources, she has gained rights of shelter. In return, during her stay she will usually grace the communal atrium with a song of her own.
Xeiras is more than happy to share of her travels whenever she passes through the clangrounds. One thing she never shares-even to the most insistent of hatchlings- is where she learned to sing. A particularly bold hatchling did so once, and found himself retreating back at the brief sight of her ice-cold expression. Since then, while youngsters are still eager for her return, they no longer crowd her with questions and instead pester parents to relay it in their stead.

As a dragon that spends most of her time wandering the wide world of Sornieth, Xeiras takes few possessions with her, choosing to leave her more fragile and cumbersome belongings in the care of the Ravenwatchers. One thing she would always take along with her is an intricately painted paper fan, depicting the frozen waves of her homeland. While she is willing enough to let others look at it, she never lets it out of her sight. A precious gift from one long gone, is the story she shares when asked. She who has shared the company of many over the long years, and surely would have received many more intricate and valuable keepsakes, values this simply painted paper fan above all her other belongings, and for good reason. The fan is a gift passed along from her mother, once a gift from her father. Carved into the wood of the handle by claws far smaller than hers, is a short message she often glances at whenever she feels at a loss.
'The ice may take much from me, but it is the heart that keeps me going'
She hold this message close to her heart, closer than she lets anyone else approach. Until the day she chooses to let another thaw the ice of her songs.
Xeiras does not know if she will ever choose to settle in any one place, to spend the rest of her days in peace and relative comfort. She does enjoy her stays with the Ravenwatchers, but has on more than several occasions wished for there to be more sunlight available than the scant amount that Summer afternoons receive. The coolness of the dark woods and the general acceptance that every dragon has her own secrets is what constantly brings her back during all her travels across Sornieth.

N A R I O N E. That Narione... something about her just causes my scales to itch, and it's not the lack of a Pearlcatcher's pearl! Although that may be the most obvious one. On the rare occasion, I'd say it even feels as if she is constantly watching me! Even when I can't sense her at all! Unsettling.
