PERSONALITY

Praecursoria is irritable, cynical and proud to a fault, but has worked hard to keep her clan well-fed (which is hard considering that most of the clan are Guardians and the amount of meat they eat is shocking) and generally content. Prone to using colourful language when things aren't going as well as she would like, and they never are. &

HISTORY

She was more optimistic and easy-going in her youth, but the difficulties and hardships she has faced trying to keep her clan alive have soured her disposition to life. Life might have been easier, if she hadn't been set on establishing her lair in the middle of the Shattered Plain with nothing to see for miles around.

After the chaotic retreat from the clan's former lair, Praecursoria was gravely injured and unable to fulfill her duties as the leader. When her daughter rose to the occasion and took the mantle, it was a relief, Praecursoria was a bit ashamed to admit.

Having recovered and with the clan under someone else's guidance, Praecursoria left. &

Proavus is Praecursoria's oldest and staunchest friend. When she decided on a whim to make a clan of her own in the arid wastes of the Shattered Plain, he followed her without question. Or not very many questions. Okay, he followed her, that's the important part. Even if the unadvised jaunt almost cost the lives of them both. Proavus is there whenever Praecursoria needs support, and vice versa, although Praecursoria's job as the clan leader has eaten into their hanging out time.

Acidthorn, the much disputed head of the clan library, is a perpetual thorn in Praecursoria's side, always ready to point out any mistakes in her work or lapses in her judgment. The two are always butting heads, whether figuratively or literally. Many have wondered why Praecursoria hasn't simply kicked Acidthorn out on her tail, but little known fact (even Praecursoria herself has yet to realize it) is that the head librarian happens to be the clan leader's Charge.
