Scarlett

Ever since her sister, Daelyn, passed away, her parents changed. Her beloved mother was lost in her grief and her father... he would rather pretend it didn't happen. That he was just magically blessed and went to live his life as a child forever. Even if that was his own way of coping with the lost, Scarlett was still incredibly upset that he would leave her and her surviving sibling, Cade, and her mother behind. So, with no other choice, Scarlett was forced to grow up quickly; taking care of her baby brother as well as her mother. As if her situation wasn't tough enough, her own little brother was born weak and small; so much so that he wasn't able to grow properly. When they were told Cade would never grow older, Scarlett's mother just stared off into the distance. She was like that more and more each day to where Scarlett would have to help feed her mother. She could only hope that maybe one day things will be okay.
