KORUS

Introduction

Korus is still trying to find his place among us. He prefers to stick to himself. I think it's due to the fact that he's blind. Either he thinks of himself as a burden or he's afraid we pity him, I'm not sure. The rest of us are trying to interact with him warmly and spend time with him as often as we can without making him uncomfortable. He's not in any way rude or cold. He just seems, afraid to trust. As much as I wish it weren't true, it's possible someone has hurt him in some way to make him this way.

BUT. No need to fear! The Dragon Matchmaker is here! Tangormane and I worked together and recently saved someone from a life in the military. Her name is Litho. She's blunt, kinda headstrong but also super caring. She's like a mom and a tough big sister rolled into one. Since her arrival I've taken every chance I can to get them to spend time together, without seeming obvious. At least not super obvious. I'm hoping she'll help bring Korus out of his shell. He actually seems to be warming up to her so far. Mostly because if she feels like hanging around him, she will. He used to attempt to avoid her but she' always eventually find him. So now he just goes in search of her first. They go for walks together and she reads him books. It's nice to see him getting out and about now.

Besides that Litho managed to talk him into adopting Harbormein when he joined the clan as an orphaned hatchling. Korus was on edge about it all at first, but quickly bonded with the young orphan and made a great adoptive father.
