Biography
G H E Z R captain of a ship long lost > he / him - theme |
I don't know how long its been now. Hours? Days? Months? … Years? I dread to think of how long I've wasted away here. Nothing is here to keep me company except for the rubble I call home. The howling winds over the lakebed and the scratch of my own claws against the stones are all I hear most days. I wish I could go home, go back to my real home. I'd rather burn to death than suffer alone here any longer. At least then I would be around another living soul. I will find a way to go home. I don't care how long it takes. |
Alone within the Searchlight ruins lives a lonely, lonely Mirror. He says his name is Ghezr, and claims that he is the captain of a great ship lost somewhere within the dry lakebed just outside the ruins. Unfortunately, it is plagued by both harsh dust storms as well as what he says is "that damned oversized scorpion." Outside of the nasty, glowing wound on his upper back, he seems rather normal as opposed to other denizens of the Zone. Well... until he starts on another rant of unintelligible nonsense, that is. Ghezr seems to suffer from some sort of memory loss, as he cannot seem to recall where he is from or how he ended up in the Zone. He also displays a lack of fine control over his elemental ice abilities, frequently dropping the air temperature around him far below what is comfortable to most other dragons. This peculiar dragon also has a habit of unintentionally falling asleep at inopportune times, and can frequently be found sleeping in odd areas. Despite his odd demeanor, Ghezr is relatively friendly and curious of any newcomers he happens upon. His knowledge of the world outside of the Zone seems to be much more expansive than other residents. Perhaps he comes from outside of the Zone, and through some cruel twist of fate, was doomed to remain there until he eventually wastes away. |
