Griselda

Communication with Griselda can prove to be... difficult. She doesn't speak, let alone speak the language of any dragon. She can be vocal to an extent, making huffing and chirping sounds mostly, but even those that know her well can't translate exactly what she's trying to convey each time. Those that can piece together what she means then have to try capturing her attention long enough to speak with her, which is another challenge. Griselda is highly inquisitive about things around her and likes to investigate things at her own pace, though she can lose interest in them fairly quickly at times.

The final obstacle in communicating with Griselda is her mood swings, which are sudden and unpredictable. If something has angered this dragon, it can be a demanding task to calm her down, and who knows what could set her off - a simple unpleasant texture or smell could trigger her temper. Before finding a home in Luna Hollows, she was known to go on furious rampages when things didn't go her way too, leaving a path of destruction in her wake. This, paired with her intimidating appearance and her aggression towards dragons she is unfamiliar with, has lead to Griselda gaining an unpleasant reputation with the clans she has encountered in her travels.

While she can be troublesome in more ways than one, her heart is generally in the right place: her offensive nature being a defensive mechanism against things that scare her, and her mood swings and short attention span being something Griselda has found she can't really change. She actively tries to do good where she can, which is actually how she ended up earning a place in Luna Hollows; Griselda had ended up following a shady figure into the clan's territory, and upon realising the stranger had evil intentions, attacked and apprehended the cryptic Pearlcatcher before proudly presenting her to the members of the clan. While she remains a mystery, the residents of Luna Hollows appreciated her good deed and over time have discovered a sweet heart and almost teddy-bear like nature within Griselda, and see her as one of their own, making her the first Gaoler to join Luna Hollows. As for Griselda herself, she couldn't be more content with her new home after wandering for so long without one.
