Oceanus

So I've owned Scheherazade for... oh, geez, 6 years now. She has her own, rather lengthy and rage-inducing tale from my first major breeding project. It's all in her bio, if anyone cares to read it for context.

Putting Scheherazade aside, for now, I've spent the past year redoing my beachy dragon pairs that AREN'T related to my original stock, and one of the final results breed/genes being pondered was Selassie here!
That one done, I chucked my pairs and went along with more projects in classic GAA fashion.

I was browsing the AH one day (a danger an an of itself), when the most delightful dragon name caught my eye...

Having the impulse control of a three-year-old left in front of a large bowl of candy, I bought him. I realized he looked familiar to Selassie, and it turns out he's one of her grandparents! I always check dragons' parents for potential lore info, and another name caught my eye on SirSplashalot's mother's page.

It was NONE OTHER THAN SCHEHERAZADE.

Which, by extension, meant Selassie was Scheherazade's great-great (?) grandchild.

Ok ok ok, whatever, it happens when you've been breeding the same pairs long enough.

BUT YESTERDAY... YESTERDAY-

I, like the fool that I am, was once again searching beach dragons in the AH. I then hovered over Oceanus. Glancing at his parentage, I noticed his father...

It was none other than ya boi, SIRSPLASHALOT. which makes this permabab Selassie's grand-cousin or something? idk it's weird

I've already mentioned my near-nonexistent impulse control, so you don't even need to click Oceanus in order to know that he's now in my lair.
