Huge trees tower above you, blocking out any view of the sky you may have once had. Their leaves are a deep green, and they occasionally fall to nurture the forest floor. The idea of a garden only comes to mind because of a sign politely asking you don’t harm any of the plants around you.

There are berry bushes planted closely around this sign, clearly unnatural to this location. Many have been plucked clean by the local fauna, but there are some still left behind. There are also worn dirt paths passing between the trees, which you hadn’t seen until now.

Is there anything to find in this makeshift garden?

I trip and fall while walking and hit my head. Once I reopen my eyes, I see monumental trees towering above me. What is this place? I think to myself. As I walk around, I see berries. They look like berries that I know, but are clearly changed, however that may have happened. Tasty! Or, at least I think so. This miniature world seems ancient and somewhat sentient. I look for some sign of how to return home. After awhile, I see a door in one of the trees. I open it and step in. The floor slides out from under me and the world fades to black.

Your vision comes back as you see an Imperial standing over you, the same green as the leaves around you. He shakes his head once he sees you’re awake, “You shouldn’t have tried going in there, you know. The creatures who live there are very… territorial.”

He helps you up, and offers you a smile, “You didn’t know, though, it’s alright. I’m Thistle, and I enjoy tending to the plants around here. It’s a garden of sorts, though I didn’t start it by any means. It’s a wonderful place, and I’d love to expand my work. You must be part of a clan, yes?”

He picks a few berries, and hands them to you, “If you’d ever like to visit again, I’d be happy to call myself part of your clan.”
