Flint

Flint remembers things, lots of things. He remembers hatching with fur lining his back as a Gaoler, hatching again with feathers all around him as a Coatl, finding a Charge as a Guardian, and forgetting as a Tundra. That's his favorite memory, the memory of forgetting, because the Tundra him forgot that every time he hatched the rune son his flank showed symbols of death and bad luck, so all the parents threw him out and to the mud. He doesn't know why the runes were a constant in all of his lives, and he doesn't know why every memory is so sharp now, but he doesn't care. Flint hasn't cared about anything since he hatched from that Bogsneak egg. Like clockwork, he was thrown to the dirt, but this time, however, someone came looking for him, the Icewarden himself. The Icewarden didn't know that this Bogsneak had gone through so many lives, but somehow in this life, the deity of Ice took pity on him, and trained him to be a true dragon of Ice. After many years the training was done and the Icewarden sent Flint back to the world of dragons. Flint is still burdened by his past, but distracts himself from it by finding the ne'er do wells of Sornieth, hoping that one of them will hold the knowledge of why he cannot move on to a peaceful afterlife. His current station is in that of Nightstrike, where he helps the Gaolers here keep an eye on their prisoners.
