______ Princess Elaine, first heir of the Sanctuary, was born as the first of her nest followed by three brothers. The Fae has spent most of her youth playing with them which explains why she now shows a rather tomboyish personality, usually favouring hunting and scavenging over eating an expensive dinner with her family.

______ When she was still a hatchling, Elaine even opposed the idea of being a princess, yet alone the first heir, knowing fully well she was supposed to become the mate of another royal dragon one day - and she’d be forever stuck in her home clan. Her opinion on this matter changed when she encountered Aster, an ice clan’s prince chosen as her mate. Though she did her best not to like him at first, Elaine later grew fond of the handsome Pearlcatcher and developed a secret crush on him.After some time had passed, the princess was no longer able to hold back her feelings and told Aster about them. Much to everyone‘s contentment, the icey male agreed to become her mate, having admired her beauty and wit since the first time they met each other. Most would still consider her a tomboy, but overall, Elaine has also discovered her feminine side and now truly enjoys the benefits of a princess.
