Cheer was born an itty-bitty dragon in a very big world. From the first day out of the egg, he couldn't wait to explore it all.

Though eternally grateful to the Gladekeeper for offering a space to grow and mature, Cheer eventually found that his thirst to see the world was too great to contain and bundled up his clan to seek out a new home. The group was still small and young enough that the Everbloom Gardens barely registered their sudden absence. After traveling through the lands of earth and shadow, they were no closer to finding a place to call home. Then, halfway accross the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Cheer heard the call of the arcanist. He saw the observatory, impossibly tall and impossibly far away, over the water for just a moment, and redirected the clan's journey to find out what he'd witnessed.

Upon their arrival, he was enraptured by the crystal spires of the starfall isles and quickly made a new home on the outskirts of the reaches. His group continued to grow until it was recognized by the Arcanist himself. The group was given the name "Aucupari" and welcomed to make a permanent home.

Though the clan is technically a monarchy, Cheer is far more interested in discovery and casual companionship than ruling with an iron grip. He often relies on Azami to make hard calls and keep order. Because of that, the Aucupari, so far, functions more as a family than anything else. And that suits Cheer just fine.

His greatest wish is to serve in the observatory itself, directly under the Arcanist, but his clan is far more inclined to keep him right where he is.
