But she can't be there, she can't be there!
She calls your name from the other side of the wall...

Alecto knows her place in the world: she doesn't have one. She's carved a space big enough for herself, though, so it'll have to do. She learned well from her mother, well enough to know that staying under her repressive rule would never get her the life she wanted for herself...once she figured out what that was, anyway. She only knew that she hungered for something, her soul always craving it deep within. Drowning the hunger with the blood of the wicked seemed to help, whilst also keeping the common folk appeased. They treat her like a hero, their vigilante in red, but they fail to realize that she could sate herself just as easily on their suffering as well. Perhaps one day she will. They ought to learn their place, after all...
