Biography

When she was young, Laverne was known for her beautifully coloured feathers and her sparkling blue eyes, unusually bright for an ice dragon. But a disease swept their clan, marking its victims by sapping the colour from them, weakening them slowly until they died. She survived the disease and recovered fully, thanks to the clan healers, but the colour never returned to her feathers.

Now that her current life plan of finding a rich clan and mate to settle down with had (in her eyes) fallen out of her reach, she turned her attention elsewhere. She took up a job transporting goods for a clan near the Lightning Farm, and slowly gathered enough expertise to climb the ranks and become a capable mechanic.

After a few years of working there, she became restless. Luckily, though, her restlessness coincided with the arrival of an attractive diplomat looking for a mechanic to accompany him on his travels. A little starstruck, she agreed to work for him, and assist him in his work across Sornieth. Her crush faded somewhat on their journeys, but she remained loyal and hardworking by his side.
