Biography
Hadi
Tunneler - Expands and creates new Lairs Diligent - Jolly - Gullible About: Every dragon in Easifa Domun knows Hadi as a sweet blue Snapper who always has time for others and, for the most part, that's true. Hadi, seemingly unlike other more nomadic Snappers, thrives among different species and is relatively uninterested in following migratory routes. To that end, Hadi has one of the largest lairs in the clan partially due to him constantly inviting larger dragons to discuss expansions, such as Joregen. No one is quite sure as to why he doesn't live a nomadic lifestyle but most dragons have simply accepted him for the way he is; if you were to ask Joregen though he would shrug and say the snapper wasn't ready yet. In a time before Hadi was welcomed to the clan expanding and carving out the walls of the underground oasis was difficult. Often clan would haphazardly force their way through rocks and dirt constantly causing them to go back and excavate areas as they dug. It was long, frustrating work to the point many dragons would rather live in cramped quarters instead of going through the trouble. After a particularly rough day. Joregen went onto the surface of the Shifting Expanse in the hopes of taking a break, as he stretched his limbs in the arid territory he spotted a distinct blue speck half-buried in the sands. Barely a few days old the gaurdian found Hadi as a hatchling all alone likely having been left behind unknowingly as his clan followed their migratory routes. With an uncanny gentleness, the guardian took the hatchling into his claws and brought Hadi to his new home. Hadi was incredibly shy once the little hatchling was strong enough to move from his nest, a stark contrast to his boisterous nature nowadays. Most days the wide-eyed Snapper would shy away from his nursery mates to the point he'd rather hide away in his nest. Whenever Joregen paid a visit to the nursery though the Snapper would stick to him like glue, closely following behind wherever the benevolent giant went. Currently, it's very rare to see Hadi shy away from others unless he's particularly nervous due to Joregen looking out for him and encouraging him to socialize. The only time Hadi completely went back to his socially awkward behavior was when he met his future mate, Hossana. Meeting the pearlcatcher is one of his fondest memories, though a little embarrassing due to the Snapper stuttering and awkward attempts to flatter her. As it stands Hadi and Hossana are the ideal image of two dragons deeply in love with one another, not as 'perfect' as a certain pair from the Land of Colored Sands but it's a close call. Hadi seems to always have Hossana on his mind constantly trying to concoct some new way to let her know he loves her to the gem cutter's delight. If there's anything to worry about when it comes to Hadi and his mate it's to stay out of their way if it has anything to do with their hatchlings as they tend to become an unstoppable force. Any other time though, Hadi is just the clan's jolly blue Snapper who's happy to help you in any way he can. Etymology: An Arabic/Persian/Turkish/Urdu name derived from Hidayah, Al-Hadi is one of the 99 Names of God in Islam meaning The Guide. |
