Elethia grew up in a clan of dragons born and bred to fix things. Each dragon was trained for a specific role fitting of their abilities, and Elethia's were more valuable than the clan could have dreamed. They told her she held the blood of life within her, and that she must dedicate her life to using it. Her healing magic is powerful to be sure, but she never wanted to give up the simpler pleasures in life for it.

Personal relationships were discouraged within the clan. Dragons rarely knew who their parents were--they were often found as abandoned eggs or hatchlings in the clan's travels--any friendships they had as hatchlings dissipated by adulthood, and romance was practically nonexistent. There was one dragon, however, who Elethia loved young and never stopped loving. She was chastised for devoting so much of her time to Ksenia, and when Ksenia left the clan after threats of expulsion, she left with her.

Away from the clan, Elethia is able to practice healing the way she wants. She uses a combination of magic and natural ingredients to produce salves and potions, giving them out where they're needed. She's happy traveling freely with Ksenia and providing their services along the way.
