Spruce is currently the most senior resident of the forest, having lived here since being a hatchling. He’s respected and looked up to by the other dragons, but he’s still humble and even playful at times. He spends his time traveling the area, collecting things that interest him, and taking life slow. Spruce loves small animals and hatchlings, often letting them catch a ride on his back- or use him like a playground as he converses with their parents.

Spruce has known and lost many dragons, including a multitude of siblings he isn't connected to any longer. His own hatchlings have gone their separate ways across Sornieth, almost never returning home.
