Biography
SOJO
Rumor has it that this dragon emerged from a sparkly meteorite that came from a distant, heavenly kingdom that consisted of an unusually intelligent subspecies of imperial.
While patrolling near the desolate, arid desert that’s near Melpo’s eastern border, Ares, Hathgar’s royal guard stumbled upon a dusty, almost grayish-brown imperial egg that upon a general inspection, seemed to carry no heartbeat within. The chimera guard’s heart twinged in sorrow as he thought he had found a bad egg; a rare, but depressing occurrence. Ares picked up the “bad egg” as he wanted to at least double-check to see if there was something alive. After shaking the egg and placing it to his furry ear, Ares then noticed a yellowish, split-second glow from the grayish egg and felt a small vibration across his paws. Was it hatching? The chimera swiftly opened his trailed wings and soared with a sense urgency to Hathgar’s castle as he knew nothing of dragon birth. Once at the castle, the royal guard hesitantly knocked on Hathgar’s door, as if debating if this was worth his time. Of course it was, he found a bad imperial egg, the same egg that’s starting to show signs of hatching! Ares instinctively flattened his round, coal ears before bowing down to Hathgar.
“Your Highness, I present you a child,” gently bestowed Ares as he presented the grayish-brown egg to Hathgar.
The gargantuan imperial’s body shook with each step closer to the lion chimera. His piercing eyes glinted at Ares as a scowl formed upon his face.
“You have disrupted my slumber for what? For a defective egg?” huffed the king as he inspected the egg closer, placing an intimidating, white claw on the imperial egg.
“Hathgar, I can swear on my life this egg will serve you well. I saw with my own eyes this ‘bad’ egg glow—“
The Imperial king growled with irritation as he lashed his tail in warning, having been tired of Ares antics so late at night. “You insult me. You know my wife Selena cannot bare children and yet you give me—“
Hathgar was cut off by the egg’s sudden movements as it began to violently tremble and glow inside.
“See, Hathgar! See!—“
“Silence!” beloved the king as his focus shifted to the egg once more, eyes now widening with surprise as numerous yellow beams pierced the egg’s shell, with one large flash blinding the whole room. The king cautiously inched forward to see a brilliant, shining imperial whose colors were admittedly far more impressive than his.

As a child and adolescent, Sojo was a clumsy, dimwitted dragon who would’ve made his ancestors slap their face in shame. Besides his painfully dumb interior, young Sojo was a playful and kind dragon who would often spend his days causing mischief around the castle and making friends with unlikely dragons his age.
